The thighs have it!
A new survey reveals the area of the body that every woman wants to change.
It's the body part that sparks the most envy among women - you either love your thighs or want someone else's. Yesterday, a survey conducted on behalf of Marks and Spencer revealed that most your women, spurred on by glamorous images of stars such as Catherine Zeta-Jones, Denise van Outen and Jennifer Lopez, want slimmer thighs, above all else. And now more than ever because the weather forecast for the next few weeks is good and, the hotter it gets, the more fluid retention will give your thighs that puffed-out look. So what is the secret of the perfect pair?
MESOTHERAPY
A radical cellulite solution, not for those with a fear of needles. Homeopathic extracts and vitamins are injected into lumpy thighs - yes, it does hurt - to increase the metabolism of the affected areas and "unclog" them. Some practitioners use an injection gun to deliver the minute does of ingredients.
Bayswater practitioner Sister Malti O'Mahony has the freehand technique down to a fine art: "Each jab with a gun is like a shock. When you do it by hand, half the tension is gone, so it's less painful." It visibly improves the appearance of thighs, and some of her clients have lost as much as a dress size over a four-week course of treatment, which costs about £450. "I wouldn't do anything to clients that I haven't tried myself," she says. Boston Clinic (UK) Ltd. (020 7229 3904).
